The California WATER COMMISSION has announced two public workshops on the Future of Water Storage in California. September and October in Sacramento California Water Commission Website    

The Sierra Nevada Conservancy has released draft guidelines for the 2011-12 funding cycle that may be of interest to MCWRA members.  Although this funding round has a focus on forests, it may not generate as much interest as earlier SNC grants that were water-focused.  SNC will be accepting comments through August 15.
