Bill George

Bill George, Director of the Mountain Counties Water Resources Association.

Bill George is serving his second term as an EID Board member, having first been elected to the Board in 2003 and reelected in 2007.  He served as Vice President for 2006 and President for 2007 and is currently serving as Vice President for 2011.  Mr George worked more than 31 years with IBM in cities across the country and has been a resident of El Dorado County since 1989.  An avid pilot, he flew volunteer missions for Angel Flight as well as search and rescue fights for the Sheriff’s Air Squadron and also served as a member of the El Dorado Airport Commission and the Placerville Airport Advisory Committee for several years.  Mr. George currently serves as the Chairman of the Regional Water Authority Board and lives in Swansboro.
