CAL FIRE Announces Forest Health Grant Workshops

CAL FIRE will be holding five workshops on the 2018-2019 Forest Health Grant Program funded by the California Climate Investments (CCI) initiative. Each workshop will cover Forest Health funding opportunities for the following project activities:
• Reforestation
• Fuel reduction and prescribed fire
• Pest management
• Biomass utilization
• Conservation easements through the Forest Legacy Program
• Research
The workshops will not address CCI funding opportunities for Fire Prevention or Urban and Community Forestry.
- Willits: Tuesday 10/2
- Sonora: Wednesday 10/3
- Fresno: Thursday 10/4
- Sacramento: Friday 10/5
- Redding: Wednesday, 10/17
