| For its May 2014 meeting, the Water Commission will be meeting with representatives of the Mountain Counties Water Resources Association, the Sierra Nevada Conservancy, the Regional Council of Rural Counties, and the Sierra Business Council in Auburn, California. The Commission plans to conduct a short business meeting for agenda items listed below, followed by a workshop to hear about the challenges and opportunities facing small water systems in foothill and mountain regions of Northern California.
Meetings of the California Water Commission are open to the public. The hosting organizations for this event will charge a fee for lunch and refreshments to attendees wishing to purchase these items. However the public is welcome to attend the Commission meeting at no cost. A video of the meeting will be posted on the Commission’s website.
