“FERC’s new method would have caused annual land-use fees for EID’s Project 184 to increase drastically from about $172,000 in 2008 to more than $2.9 million per year, starting by 2011,” said EID General Counsel Tom Cumpston. “Our goal was to pay FERC reasonable land-use fees.”…
