AB 685 passed from the Senate on August 23 by a vote of 22 to 16. The bill is now eligible to be heard on the Assembly Floor.
AB 685 (Eng) would declare that it is the policy of the state that every human has the right to clean, affordable, and accessible water on an equitable basis that is adequate for the health and well-being of the individual and family.
