ACWA Region 3 Hosts – A Tour of the Eastern Sierra Nevada
Watersheds & Energy Projects
June 23 & 24, 2011
ACWA Region 3 is hosting a tour of the eastern Sierra Nevada watersheds and energy projects. This program will begin in South Lake Tahoe on June 23, with a morning program at South Tahoe PUD. After lunch, a bus will take attendees down
the eastern side of the Sierra to stay overnight in Mammoth Lakes. Tour stops include the Mammoth Creek Watershed, the Mono Basin, SPG Solar’s Solar Power Project, the Casa Diablo Geothermal Plant in Bishop, and Mono Lake. The tour will
conclude back in South Lake Tahoe the evening of June 24.
