Placer County Water Agency Water Shortage – Special Board Meeting – April 28, 2011

Placer County Water Agency will hold a special meeting April 28 to discuss their impacts and consequences regarding the water shortage and delivery and use restrictions to PCWA’s service Zones 1 and 5 that is caused by the loss of water supplied to PCWA from PG&E as a result of a failure of a segment of PG&E’s Bear River Canal on April 19.
This will include consideration of whether to set a public hearing for the purpose of declaring a water shortage emergency and for adopting regulations and restrictions on delivery and use of water to Agency Zone 1 and Zone 5.
