House Resources to hold hydropower relicensing hearing
On June 27 at 10:00 am, the House Natural Resources Committee will hold a hearing on “Mandatory Conditioning Requirements on Hydropower: How Federal Resource Agencies are Driving Up Electricity Costs and Decreasing the Original Green Energy.” The hearing will focus on the agencies within the Departments of the Interior, Commerce, and Agriculture that are required to propose “mandatory conditions” when a non-federal hydropower project is licensed or relicensed.
