Mountain Counties Water Resources Association Board of Directors Appoints 2025 Officers
MOUNTAIN COUNTIES, Calif. February 19, 2025 – Last week, the Mountain Counties Water Resources Association (MCWRA) Board of Directors appointed their 2025 Officers. The 2025 Officers will lead the Association in realizing its Mission to promote the statewide importance of Sierra Nevada water resources through advocacy and collaboration.
The 2025 MCWRA Officers are:
President: Scott Ratterman, Calaveras County Water District
Vice-President: Susan Peters, Amador Water Agency
Treasurer: Lori Anzini, El Dorado Irrigation District
Secretary: Donna Seaman, Georgetown Divide Public Utility District
"We are delighted to announce the appointment of our 2025 Officers," said Justin Caporusso, MCWRA Executive Director. "This esteemed group of leaders brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table, and we are confident that they will guide MCWRA towards continued success in our vision is to be the premiere advocate to influence water policy and protection of the Sierra Nevada watershed."
The newly appointed Officers expressed their enthusiasm and commitment to serving MCWRA and its members.
"I am honored to continue serving as MCWRA President, and am grateful for the Board’s confidence in my leadership," said President Ratterman. "I look forward to working alongside my fellow Officers and our dedicated Board to address the critical water resource challenges facing our region."
MCWRA serves a total of 50 Executive, Affiliate, and Associate Members across 12 of California’s mountain counties, including Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, El Dorado, Mariposa, Mono, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sierra, Tuolumne, and Yuba Counties.
Mountain Counties Water Resources Association Mission is to unite agencies, groups, and individuals whose interests include protecting and enhancing Mountain County water resources. This Mission is realized through strengthening Members’ regional leadership, collaboration, information sharing, issue awareness, education, advocacy, and potential legislative action or legal support.
