Meeting Location: El Dorado County Water Agency
1st and 3rd Friday of each month
2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Purpose: Represent its members before the State Legislature and U.S. Congress and State and Federal regulatory agencies within the legislative guidelines of the legislative policy principles adopted by the Board of Directors.
Quorum: A majority of the members shall constitute a quorum for conducting business of the Committee
Voting: Positions shall be taken on proposed legislation or regulatory affairs must be approved by the entire Committee. All other business of the Committee may be approved by a majority.
Reporting: The Committee shall report regularly about the activities and positions taken to the Board of Directors and to the membership at a minimum quarterly or as needed.
Legislative Committee Guidelines: Committee responsibilities, guidelines and protocols shall be followed as in accordance with the Legislative Committee Guidelines
