Lowell Jarvis
Lowell Jarvis - (2011 Placer County Water Agency Board Chair) has served on the PCWA Board of Directors since 1996. He represents District 3, which includes the City of Auburn, Town of Loomis, part of the City of Rocklin and the communities of Penryn, Newcastle and Ophir. He resides in Ophir. Mr. Jarvis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from California State University, San Jose.
Lowell is retired after spending 7 years in the private sector and 30 years in the public sector. He has worked for Phillips Petroleum, Rocky Mountain Energy, and Union Carbide – Linde Specialty Gases. In the public sector, Lowell has worked for the City of Santa Cruz’s Water Treatment Plant, the California Air Resources Board, the California Department of Food and Agriculture, and the State Water Resource Control Board.
